Make sure to grab your favorite bonnet and basket and hop on over to the Village of Baytowne Wharf Saturday, March 30 for an Easter Explosion.

"This event is a great way to kick off the Easter weekend," said Brittany Byrd, events coordinator for Baytowne Wharf. "It provides an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy some outdoor fun."

With spring officially in the air, grab the entire family and spend the afternoon strolling the streets of Baytowne Wharf, while bouncing your way through the inflatable fun zone or challenging your friend to a game of cornhole before visiting the Easter Bunny.

Plan to let loose and participate in activities and games galore, as Abrakadoodle will be on hand to paint faces and Easter eggs at no charge. A variety of lawn games, such as chess and ladder ball, will be set up across from the events plaza stage where DJ Spintel will be spinning his distinct blend of tunes. And don't forget to pay a visit to the stilt walker, who will be handing out prizes and making balloon art.

Easter Explosion will take place from 12-3 p.m. For more information on the event call 850-267-8117 or visit www.baytownewharf.com.

So, skip, hop or jump you way to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for an Easter celebration.

"Baytowne will be full of activity on Saturday," Byrd said. "From zip lining across the lagoon to dancing on the stage, we will have activities for all ages to enjoy."
