Elephant Walk at Sandestin has officially returned and is now open daily for dinner at 5 p.m. Featuring fresh local seafood brought in daily from Destin Ice, Elephant Walk offers the longtime favorite dish, Grouper Elizabeth, along with new creations by Chef Mike McAnulla including Shrimp & Grits, Pepper Crusted Seared Tuna, Sauteed Red Snapper, an indulgent seafood pasta, Fruitti De Mare, and more.
The a la carte menu also features a succulent steak selection with the 6 and 10-ounce Filet Mignon Henry the VIII, the 16-ounce New York Strip, along with numerous family-style side items to compliment the entrées. An impressive and diverse wine list and unique specialty cocktails will make the Elephant Walk deck a perfect happy hour location for visitors coming off the beach, or locals finishing their work day.
“We are excited to bring back the tradition of Elephant Walk to Sandestin,” said co-owner Tom Rice. “The restaurant has not only a stunning location overlooking the gulf, but holds so many treasured memories for locals and visitors alike.”
The second level of Elephant Walk, known as the “Governor’s Attic,” offers groups semi-private dining for approximately 40-50 guests. Still undergoing redevelopment, the Governor’s Attic will be available for reservations in early May. Elephant Walk also looks forward to offering a lunch menu in the summer months, convenient for those enjoying the beach only steps away from the restaurant.
