From accessorizing celebrities like Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Jessica Alba and Ellen DeGeneres to mining for exquisite gems in Africa and Turkey, luxury jewelry designer Erica Courtney has an impressive list of accomplishments. Named “One of the Top Three Jewelry Designers in the World” by United Brands, Erica will be making a personal appearance at McCaskill & Company on May 16, 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Meet the designer and view her renowned Drop Dead Gorgeous collection, seen regularly on red carpets and Hollywood’s elite.

Favoring socially and environmentally responsible manufacturing processes, Erica chooses recycled metals, eco-friendly processes and ethically obtained gems, even observing “green” mining for rare Zultanite firsthand. Her slogan, “Always Gorgeous, Glamorous and Green" reflects this approach.

Though jewelry design was not her first career, it was her true calling.

Thirty years ago, Erica was a young single mother without a financial future. In 1984, she began designing on a whim, embellishing sunglasses and watches with Swarovski crystals. Over time, the Erica Courtney collection evolved into fine jewelry, inspired by the undeniable glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Today, her line is one of the most recognized and successful fine jewelry brands in the industry.

Bill and Elizabeth Campbell, owners of McCaskill & Company, look forward to her visit.

“As a person, Erica is fun, dynamic and passionate,” says Elizabeth. “As a designer, her pieces are nothing short of show stopping. We’re proud to share her collection and even more excited to invite guests into the store to meet Erica personally. It will be a treat for us all.”

As an added bonus, Sarah Carolyn, located next to McCaskill & Company, is hosting a trunk show featuring Claudia Lobao.

Claudia is a Brazilian designer whose line of contemporary fashion jewelry ranges from long chains of hammered metals to funky cocktail rings to intricately crocheted metal necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

“Claudia offers an interesting mix of femininity and delicate strength. Her intricately woven jewelry is soft yet resilient,” says Sarah Carolyn owner Carolyn Brigman.
