Robert Eugene “Bobby” Gates
Robert Eugene “Bobby” Gates, 78, of Freeport, Fla., and formerly of El Darado, Ark., died June 2, 2013, at Grand Boulevard Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miramar Beach.
Born Dec. 30, 1934, in Pineville, La., he was the son of Allan Robert and Sara Jane Ryder Gates. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church of El Dorado. He was preceded in death by his parents and siste, Marjorie Gates Crain.
Survivors include sisters, Gloria Gates Poole and husband J.B. Poole of El Dorado, and Charlene Martin of Little Rock, Ark.; wife of 54 year,s Barbara Ann Welch Gates of Freeport; sons, Robert A. Gates of Freeport, Jeffrey E. Gates and wife Karen of Miramar Beach, and David W. Gates and wife Kelly of Destin; grandchildren, Bobby, Chris, Joey, Drew, Adam, Shane, Holly, Taylor, Chelsey, Andie; and great-grandchildren, Brady, Hayden, Aaliyah, Ava, and Payton.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. June 8 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Hwy. 20 in Freeport.

Mr. Freeman Bryan, 73, passed away May 31, 2013. He was born July 9, 1939, to Marvin Jimmy Bryan and Lovie Thompson Bryan.
Mr. Bryan was Baptist by faith and a resident of Freeport, Fla. He graduated from Ponce De Leon High School and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany. He was a disabled American veteran. He worked in farming, heavy equipment. He was a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, and was an avid pool player and karaoke singer. He also loved sports cars and always drove them.
Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his father and mother, two brothers, Willie Bryan, Rae Bryan, and one son, Wayne Bryan.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his son, Danny T. Bryan and wife Debra of Hartford, Ala.; daughter, Tina Wolf and husband Sonny of Freeport; brothers, Junior Bryan and wife Pat of New Hope, Fla., Tommy Bryan and wife Sally of Huntsville, Ala., Jimmy Bryan and wife Faye of New Hope; grandchildren, Zeke Wolf, Ryder Wolf, and Katelyn Wolf.
Memorial Service will be held art 1 p.m. June 7 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Highway 20 in Freeport.
