The 28th Annual Charity Auction begins with a silent auction from 6-8 p.m. on The Big Deck at Harbor Docks Restaurant, 538 Harbor Blvd. in Destin. Live auction follows, with auctioneer/host Ted Corcoran. A $15 donation will be accepted at the door and a buffet dinner and cash bar will be provided. Art class/food drive
Abrakadoodle will host a Family Art Class and Food Drive benefiting Food For Thought, which serves Walton and Okaloosa counties, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Destin Commons Studio. The 27th Annual Destin Triathlon (formerly the Elephant Walk Triathlon) will lure 700 participants for a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin’s beach and bayside community. Proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast. Race begins at 6:30 a.m. on the beach 1/2 mile west of Elephant Walk Restaurant. Post Race Party will be held at 10:30 a.m. beachside at the Elephant Walk Restaurant Pool Deck.
