New fiscal year for Walton County TDC



As of Oct. 1, Walton County TDC entered in a new fiscal year. The last year has been promising with August reports of visitor spending up 27.31 percent over August 2012 and year-to-date spending up 12.72 percent overall.



With the beginning of a new fiscal year it is the beginning of the season for sponsored events in South Walton. While sponsorships have already been awarded for the 2013-2014 fiscal year, the 2014-2015 applications will be available in spring 2014. Sponsorships are awarded based on events falling in the fiscal year, Oct. 1 through Sept. 30.



Tresha Brown joins YOLO Board



Tresha Brown has joined YOLO Board as the company’s new marketing director. With nearly a decade of marketing and sales experience, Brown will lead the branding efforts of the bi-coastal standup paddleboard company from the Florida headquarters in Santa Rosa Beach.
