A bomb threat made to a CVS Pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon proved to be false, according to the Walton County Sheriff's Office.
About a dozen vehicles from the Walton County Sheriff's Department were blocking off Poinciana Avenue that runs in front of CVS as well as surrounding businesses.
George Seeling of Buster's Restaurant, located in the same shopping center as CVS, said someone from the sheriff's department came down to his restaurant and said he had to evacuate.
Seeling said he had about nine customers in the restaurant at the time. "Thank goodness this isn't July," Seeling said, who's had the business for 27 years.
Official cars were blocking the entrances to CVS, Buster's, Five Guys and Waffle House, which backs up to CVS.
Investigators are trying to trace the call made to CVS pharmacy, said Catherine Rodriguez, spokeswoman for the Walton County Sheriff's Office.
