Seaside race seeks volunteers as school gears up for registration
The 12th annual Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K Run in South Walton takes place March 2.
Race weekend volunteer opportunities include:
• Feb. 28: Friday Night Event with Early Packet Pick-up from 5-8:30 p.m. at the Seaside Neighborhood School and Seaside
• March 1: Expo and Packet Pick-up from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Seaside Amphitheater
• March 2: Half Marathon & 5K Run from 5-11:30 a.m. in Seaside.

Seaside School registration
Seaside School, a public charter school in Walton County, is currently accepting applications for Seaside Neighborhood School grades 5-8 and Seacoast Collegiate High School grades 9-11.
Applications for new students and siblings of current students must be received in the front office of Seaside Neighborhood School by 3 p.m. April 1. Along with the completed application, parents must provide proof of Walton County residency and documentation of an applicant’s current school of enrollment.
If there are more applicants than openings, a lottery will be held April 29 at Seaside School, 10 Smolian Circle in Seaside.
