Including hotels and meeting facilities from around the southeastern United States, the list of top 30 boardrooms was created by editors based on a variety of factors, including comfortable seating, interesting decor, and high-tech capabilities. Congrats to the Hilton!



Also, "Wine Spectator" magazine has ranked the 2013 Destin Charity Wine Auction as sixth in the nation, raising more than other wine auctions in the region, including Carnivale Du Vin in New Orleans and High Museum Wine Auction in Atlanta. Wow!

The newly opened Acme Ice House had its first celebrity in the house when Luke Bryan dropped in last weekend.



Stacey Brady and daughters had their own celebrity sightings last week when they went to New York City for spring break. They saw James Franco and Neil Patrick Harris while there.



Anne Hunter is back from the Big Apple, visiting friends at the beach.



John and Denise Dobelek have returned from a one-week trip to an all-inclusive sailing resort at Key Largo, followed by a two-week eco-nature tour of Costa Rica where they saw lots of monkeys, sloths, butterflies and birds.



Robin and Charles Wiesneth are visiting Germany.



Jennifer McAlexander saw dolphins while visiting St. Vincent Island.



Michelle Uhlfelder took a spring break trip to Port St. Joe.



Billy and Kelly Buzzett went skiing in Park City, Utah.



Vickie Dollar visited her mother in Florence, Ala.

Joe Capers, Colleen Riddle, Joe Serrato, and Shaye Smith, attended last Thursday night's Business After Hours held at the new Yolo Board & Bike at Gulf Place.



Donna Burgess, Donna Callahan, Lea and Joe Capers attended the First Note performances at The Vue last weekend.



The Filippone family added a new family member by the name of Gordon.



I saw Katie Bonjean, Michele and Jack Silberman, John and Maureen Burns at the pool last Friday.



John Stasko celebrated his Big 70 birthday Friday with a surprise party held at the beautiful Gulf Place home of Keith and RoseAnn Knight. Around 40 friends, neighbors, and family members helped him celebrate. His sister and brother in law from New York; his sister and brother in law from Tampa; and his daughter from St. Louis all surprised him with their presence.



Max Banning celebrated his Big 70 the same night with a neighborhood party of his friends in Deerwood.
