HGTV was back in our little corner of paradise this week, and we will once again see a familiar face appear on TV when the show airs in May.
HGTV was here to film a segment for its "Beachfront Bargain Hunters" series. Filming was done on 30A using local Realtor Clayton Bonjean.
This is Bonjean's second time to be used by a network. He was also selected by WE tv to be the Realtor helping Jennifer and Bryan Masche find a home here. The Masches were starring in "Raising Sextuplets."
"I have a good Internet presence and they find me," said Bonjean of his good fortune.
While he was proud to be on WE tv, he said this is a way bigger deal.
The HGTV crew arrived Tuesday morning and shooting began at 8 a.m. at a property at Sea Bluff condominiums in Blue Mountain Beach.
After shooting ended there, the crew was slated to tour a house on the lake in Dune Allen by Stinky's.
Shooting continued Wednesday morning at Gulf Place Town Center at a condo named 6 Palms, located above Santa Rosa Beach Pharmacy.
Other spots on 30A and in South Walton were used through Friday afternoon.
One location that was included in the shoot that will appear in the segment is Bud & Alley's rooftop bar in Seaside.
"It will feature me and customers who purchase on 30A," said Bonjean, who said he does watch the show. "I am excited. This is great! I couldn't pay for this kind of advertising."
Bonjean has been a Realtor in the area since the late 1990s and has been a broker for five years. He owns Mainsail Realty.
The segment's airing is scheduled for late May.
