Applications to serve are available on the county’s website at www.co.walton.fl.us. The application can be accessed through a link from the homepage. An application can also be obtained from the county administration office at 892-8155. Applicants are encouraged to attach a resume and/or a letter detailing why and under which area of expertise they would be a good fit on this council. The Board of County Commissioners will make selections and notify those selected.

“Currently, there is no firm deadline due to the fact that we are not sure when we will be receiving any funds or when we will be placing the application in front of the commission for decisions,” said Louis Svehla with Walton County. “We would just encourage those that want to be considered to apply as soon as they can.”
