Patricia Lee Rines Grant



Patricia Lee Rines Grant, 70, of Miramar Beach passed away Feb. 1, 2013, at the Grand Boulevard Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she had lived since 2010. She was born to the late Frank Daniel and Elizabeth Attaway Rines on Aug. 18, 1942, in Baltimore, Md.



Pat loved helping others. She served for many years as a certified nursing assistant working in care facilities both in Virginia and Florida including the Grand Boulevard Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miramar Beach, where she worked for more than 13 years before retiring in 2007.



Pat loved animals, listening to gospel music, watching John Wayne movies and most of all, she loved her family. She was known for her infectious laugh and love for all. She will be missed by so many.



She is survived by her children, Debra Sullivan of Waxahachie, Texas, Joseph Grant of Freeport, and Shawn Alderman of Niceville; grandchildren whom she adored, Daniel Sullivan of Dallas, Texas, Catherine Sullivan of Waxahachie, Monica Alderman, Mallorie Alderman, and John Alderman, III, all of Niceville; and brother, Richard Rines of Bridgewater, Va.



Pat was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her former husband Edgar Wiley Grant, Jr. of Niceville.



A Memorial Service celebrating Pat's life will be held at 2 p.m. Feb.9 at the Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Sullivan.

Ruel Page



Ruel Page, 86, passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at Grand Boulevard Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miramar Beach. She was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Blackshear, Ga. to Waver and Lois Barlow.



Mrs. Page is survived by her husband, Chris, of Eufaula, Ala.; dughters, Anita Page of Santa Rosa Beach and Lois (Greg) Davis of Navarre; grandchildren, Brian Jernigan, Chris Jernigan, Wesley Page, Scott Page, and Andrew Page; and great-grandson, Wesley Jernigan.



Graveside services were held Feb. 1 at Fairview Cemetery Addition with the Rev. Chris Toole officiating.
 



Edmundo Ramirez



Mr. Edmundo Ramirez, 86, passed away Feb. 1, 2013. He was born Nov. 20, 1926, in Tampico, Mexico, to Gildardo Ramirez and Gertrudis Avendano Ramirez.



Mr. Ramirez was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach. He was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He worked with Illinois Central Rail Road as an electrician for 33 years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening and working on his cars and building things.



Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his parents.



Mr. Ramirez is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Socorro Ramirez of Santa Rosa Beach; son, Manuel Ramirez; daughters, Imelda Diaz and husband Ed, Rosa Molina and husband Ivan, Socorro McFarland and husband Dennis and Elena Gaona and husband Adolfo; brother, Luis Ramirez; sisters, Lilia Ayon and Elena Gomez; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be held a 2 p.m. Feb. 4 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Highway 20 in Freeport.

Donald Allen Lovell



Donald Allen Lovell, 55, passed away on Jan. 31, 2013. Donald was born on June 24, 1957, in Kittery, Maine. He resided in Freeport. In 1975, he graduated from Niceville Senior High School. Donald was an avid fisherman. He also loved to hunt and enjoyed watching NASCAR races.



Donald is preceded in death by his father, Bascom Lovell.



He is survived by his mother, Patsy; brother, David; uncle, George; cousins; and numerous friends.



The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, with the funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso.
