Roger Leroy Bonds

Mr. Roger Bonds, 49, of Freeport, passed away Jan. 30, 2010. He was born Aug. 17, 1960, in St. Petersburg, Fla., to Jesse and Jo Forsythe Bonds.

Mr. Bonds was Lutheran by faith. He lived in Walton County since 1983. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved his family and friends.

Mr. Bonds was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Dawn Marie Bonds. Mr. Bonds is survived by his mother, Jo Williams of Santa Rosa Beach; his loving wife, Edna Bonds of Freeport; one daughter, Shonna Bonds of Destin; three brothers, Gerald Bonds of Santa Rosa Beach, Shannon   Bonds and wife, Rita, of Freeport and Richard Bonds of Sopchoppy; one sister, Debra Bonds of Santa Rosa Beach; two granddaughters, Alena and Marie; one niece, Tiffani; and nephews, Aaron, Jesse, Garrett and Trey.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 3, 2010, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Father Tom Collins officiating.
