Crime Stoppers seeks information
Crime Stoppers of Walton County is looking for information on the following thefts.
Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest for any crime or recovery of stolen property. The information must be reported through the tip line to be eligible for the
reward.
On May 12, a utility trailer was stolen from U.S. Highway 331S in Freeport. The trailer is an older model 5 foot x 10 foot with 30 inch side rails. The back two taillights are broken and the jack is bent.
On May 19, an enclosed Haumaker trailer was stolen from County Road 30A at a business in Santa Rosa Beach. The trailer was recovered on Interstate 10 after the suspect rolled the trailer and absconded from the accident scene (see picture). The suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old,
with short brown hair , 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches wearing a white T-shirt. The vehicle the suspect was driving is a late 90s Ford extended cab truck with heavy damage to the driver's side rear area.
On May 20 a 2002 Elite trailer with 3 foot side railing and Florida Tag No. X78RVC was
stolen from the parking lot next to Subway in Freeport on U.S. Highway 331S.
