Elizabeth ‘Doll-Doll’ Higdon

Elizabeth “Doll-Doll” Higdon, 90, of Seagrove Beach, Fla., passed away March 5, 2010.

She was born in Ensley, Ala., to the late French June Cashatt and Byrd Merchant Cashatt. She moved to Seagrove Beach from Hueytown, Ala., in 1972. She remained a member of Hueytown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting, sewing, reading, crossword puzzles and the beach and was an avid fan of Alabama Football — “Roll Tide.” Mrs. Higdon was also a member of the Sunshine Club of Seagrove Beach.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband on Nov. 5, 1989, Kenneth Paul Higdon; a sister, Frances Cashatt; and a brother, Bill Cashatt.
