Summer Fun for Kids
Summer Institute
Good Samaritan Institute, 900 CR 393 North in Santa Rosa Beach, will offer its first L.Ab. R.A.T.S. Summer Institute, a hands-on Science Enrichment Program for kids ages 10-13, from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Friday mornings in July. Cost is $20 per class. DeFuniak Springs Teen Center
Summer programs for ages 11 through 18 will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 12 at the DeFuniak Springs Teen Center. Register by calling 892-3752.
Cost is $10/week for kids 13-18; $25/week for kids 11-12; $10/week for one child in Sunrise Program, 6:30 to 9 a.m.; and $5/week for each additional child in Sunrise. Financial assistance/scholarships are available.
Artists at Gulf Place
Tie Dye workshops will be held from 12 to 5 pm. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday in July at Artists at Gulf Place, on the corner of 393 and 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Call 622-0400.

Art classes
Geana’s Art Gallery will offer sketch/drawing classes for ages 11 years old and up through Aug. 1 at 36150 Emerald Coast Parkway, Ste. 106 in Destin. Cost is $40/class and includes art supplies. Enroll at 650-0779.

Seaside KIDS and Abrakadoodle will offer art classes for both locals and visitors from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 3, outside of the Seaside KIDS store on County Road 30A. Classes are $20 per child and are for children 5 years old and up. For more information, visit www.seasidefl.com.
