Well-known hairstylist returns to Serenity by the sea

DOMENICA STEVENS

Born, raised and trained in Italy, Domenica Stevens never realized how much of an impact she would make in the lives of others. As a hairstylist for the Image Center at the Hilton Sandestin’s Serenity by the sea Spa, Salon and Fitness Center, Stevens’ clients and fellow beauticians were saddened by her departure last year.
“When I left the salon to take care of my mother, many people came up to me to tell me how much I would be missed and begged me to return if I could,” Stevens said. “It was truly touching to see how many people cared about me and the work that I do.”
Stevens began working as a hair stylist at the age of 16 with an intensive training program in one of the most sought-after salons in Italy. She continued her advanced education over the next 10 years through a rigorous curriculum, taking classes throughout Italy in Milan, Agrigento, Messina, Bologna and Torino.
In 2000, Stevens moved to Dayton, Ohio, where she pursued her cosmetology and management licenses. Then, in 2005 she moved to Northwest Florida and began working at Serenity by the sea, a place she is proud to call home.

CHRIS OGLE
Wachovia Securities, a national brokerage firm based in St. Louis, announced that Chris J. Ogle has been named first vice president - investment officer. Ogle is a financial advisor in the firm's Destin office.
A graduate of Flagler College, Ogle has been a financial advisor for eight years and joined Wachovia Securities in 2000.
He and his wife reside in Santa Rosa Beach with their four children.

REBECCA KIRK
Rebecca Kirk, Realtor with Hammock Bay Real Estate has just received the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation, addressing the needs of homebuyers age 55+.

MICHELLE SPERZEL
Michelle Sperzel, MBA, has stepped into the role as executive director for Shelter House Inc.
Sperzel has worked in health related non-profits for over 12 years. She has attended numerous community meetings and is working with the board of directors to develop a five year strategic plan that will include fundraising goals, increasing access to services and offering more comprehensive services and programs.

KELLY MURPHY-REDD
Kelly Murphy-Redd, marketing director/Realtor for Ruckel Properties Inc., in Niceville, has earned the designation of Certified Economic Developer, a national recognition that denotes a mastery of principal skills in economic development, professional attainment and a commitment to personal and professional growth. 
The CEcD exam was administered by the International Economic Development Council on April 12 and 13 in Alexandria, Va. Murphy-Redd was one of six to pass out of 21 taking the exam.

RESORTQUEST
Broker Agent Magazine has named two ResortQuest sales teams as their Cover Agents of the Month during 2008. 
Janette Klein and her team were featured in January. Klein works in Miramar Beach. She obtained a Certified International Property Specialist designation last November and the No. 1 sales associate for resales of listings in 2007, as well as No. 4 in total production companywide. She has worked for ResortQuest for 16 years and has proven her success time and time again. Her team consists of David Klein, John Milan and Carrie Liptak.
Team Destin Vice was also recognized in March. This team includes Kevin Kramer, Caleb Midgett, and new team member Lyn Jerzerick. Kramer and Midgett were named ResortQuest’s “Rookies of the Year” in 2006 during their first full year of real estate, and their second year in 2007 was also a success with $6 million in sales.
