Terry Holley

Terry Leon Holley, 65, of Ware Shoals, husband of Linnie Martin Holley, died Jan. 31 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late William Marvin and Grace Lindley Holley. He retired as a supervisor with highway Tyechnology and was a member of Donalds Church of God.

Surviving is his wife; sons, Pat Hunt and Doug Hunt, both of Clearwater, Fla., and Daniel McCormick of DeFuniak Springs; daughter, Charlene Ward of Freeport, Fla.; brothers, Rick Holley and Wayne Holley, both of Ware Shoals; godson, Mark “Chief” Wysong of Clearwater; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at Donalds Church of God with the Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad Covan, Johnny Lollis, O. E. Lollis, Billy Miller, Bobby Gambrell and Yank Demrest. Honorary escort will be the men of the church.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at Donalds Church of God.

A service will also be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 4 at Black Creek United Methodist Church in Freeport with the Rev. Horace D. McCormick and the Rev. Harold Aultman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
