Covenant Hospice holds volunteer training workshop

FORT WALTON BEACH - Covenant Hospice is seeking volunteers interested in making a difference in the lives of patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. A volunteer training workshop is scheduled for Feb. 21, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., at St. Simon’s Episcopal Church, 28 Miracle Strip Parkway.

There are many ways in which volunteers can get involved, including providing patient/family support, visiting nursing homes and assisting with fundraising activities and office tasks.

The workshop is free and refreshments will be provided.
