Witness seminar examines Jesus' words
When Jesus said his followers would be “no part of the world”, what did he mean? Do his words still apply today? What is the “world” that Christians should be no part of? Intriguing answers to these questions will be explored during the Witnesses’ annual circuit assembly to be held at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City.
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that following Jesus admonition is vital for spiritual well being and having an approved relationship with God. The two-day assembly will be held from 9:40 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. Sept. 18 and 9:40 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19. Admission to the assembly is free, and no collections will be taken.
From Fort Walton Beach to Panama City Beach and from Crestview to Chipley, all of the area’s Witness congregations will attend the assembly. An estimated 1,000 will come to the Marina Civic Center over the two days of the programs. Worldwide, there are more than 7,300,000 Witnesses in more than 105,000 congregations.
