HUGH SAWYER

Legendary Inc. announced the appointment of Hugh E. Sawyer as president of the Legendary companies. Located in Destin, Legendary is a diversified business with holdings in resorts, realty and marine sales and operations. The company's portfolio includes enterprises such as Emerald Grande resort, HarborWalk Village, Legendary Marine, Legendary Yacht Club, Regatta Bay Golf and Country Club and Destin Commons.  
Sawyer has a 30-year career in leadership roles with complex, multi-location businesses, most recently serving as president and CEO of Allied Holdings Inc. from 2001-2007.  He has served on numerous Boards of Directors including as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Spiegel Inc., the parent company of Eddie Bauer; Hines Horticulture Inc.; and as executive chairman of Eggs Overnight Inc.  
Legendary's founder, Peter. H. Bos will continue to lead Legendary in its future developments as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, concentrating on strategic vision and long term growth.

Janette Klein and Marilue Maris have been awarded the Resort and Second Home Property Specialist Certificates by the National Association of Realtors.

PELICAN REAL ESTATE
Top sales agents at Pelican Real Estate for the month of March were Lisa Rhodes in Panama City Beach and Karen Oliver in Seagrove.

CYNTHIA ROBERSON
Cynthia Roberson, a real estate professional for Coldwell Banker United, Realtors, attended "Mega Marketing," a two-day seminar on marketing and advertising.
The seminar was presented by Hobbs/Herder Advertising in April at the Sandestin Hilton.
Along with 80 local real estate agents, Roberson discussed the emerging trend of personal marketing, high-impact advertising, public relations, and self-promotion with Hobbs/Herder Vice President of Marketing Rhonda Formby.

For the 9th year, The Pampered Chef is offering a collection of limited-edition pink products in support of breast cancer education and early detection programs during the month of May. With each purchase, $1 is donated to the American Cancer Society.
