Ellen J. Miley

Mrs. Ellen J. Miley, 86, of Freeport, Fla., passed away July 24, 2010. She was born March 16, 1924 in Richmond, Va., to Adam and Violet Ghery Landry.  

Mrs. Miley was a resident of Freeport for the past 30 years, moving here from Hialeah, Fla. She was Baptist by faith, she loved crossword puzzles, watching game shows, crocheting, baking and cooking.

Mrs. Miley was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Cauley; and one daughter, Violet Cuchens.

Mrs. Miley is survived by her husband of 20 years, Donald Miley of Freeport; daughters, Peggie Leonard and husband Ken of Ocala, Fla., and Donna Albert and Len of Olympia, Wash.; son-in-law, Howard Chuchens of Freeport; and daughter-in-law, Jean Cauley, also of Freeport. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeffery Hopkins, Kristina Hopkins, Lisa Helton, Michelle Lane, Frank Cuchens and Joel Chuchens; great-grandchildren, Erik Hopkins, Viky Hopkins, Rebecca Nicole Evans, Jamie Evans, Coral Holland, Kristina Ivey, Shane Lane, Rebecca Cuchens Morales, Ashly Cuchens Rogers, Frank Cuchens II and Molly Cuchens; and two great-great grandchildren, Asher Evans and Jeremiah Jesse Morales. 

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. July 25 at the Hatcher Cemetery with Mr. Frank Cuchens officiating.
