Most businesses have undergone downsizing. The Sun it is no different.

Despite our smaller staff, we are still committed to being your community newspaper but we need your help.

Do you have a story you can tell? Someone interesting you can write about? Photos that you would like to see in the paper? Videos of a trip you took or that great fish you caught?

Here at The Sun we are open to most contributions by community journalists.

People want to read stories about their neighbors (or their neighbors’ kids). They want to know if there is a group of people with a common interest meeting. They want to see Uncle Bob reel in that shark or a precious pet doing a special trick.

Do you have a talent you would like to share? Video a two-minute or less presentation and send it to us. If we get enough, we’ll let readers vote to determine which the best one, but we’ll post all of them on our Web site.

Vacations, weddings, graduations, birthdays, hikes, shopping excursions – we want to know what you’re doing.
