Willie Pagels

Willie Pagels, 53, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., passed away Feb. 23, 2010. at her residence.  She was born July 20, 1956 in Fort Myers, Fla., to Karl Hjalmar and Lela Diane Hedlund.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Pagels; daughters, Michele Marie Pagels, and Kathy Jo Jackowski; son, Thomas L. Pagels II; sisters, Mary Geraldine McGreevy, Carolyn Shankle, and Ann Wilkinson; brothers, Karl H. Hedlund, III, Joseph Wayne Hedlund, James Hedlund, Warren Hedlund, Leland Hedlund, and Lester Hedlund; grandchildren, Brandon, Brooks, Kaila, Hannah, Thomas L. III, Madison, and Abi-Rhea; favorite pets, Macy, Harley, Oreo and TP; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 25 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North in DeFuniak Springs, with the Rev. Phil McMillian officiating.
