New Lutheran pastor
Grace Lutheran Church in Destin welcomes their new pastor, Kevin Wendt, 45, from Concordia Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he has served as an associate pastor for eight years.
Pastor Wendt replaces the Rev. Paul Kummer and comes to Destin with his wife, Jen, and his son, Aaron, one of their three children.
He will be installed at the 9:30 a.m. service Jan. 29. Call 850-654-1679.
Concert
The Dixie Echoes Gospel Quartet will present a concert of gospel music at 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Santa Rosa Beach Community Church, 3524 U. S. 98 West. There is no admission cost, but a love offering will be taken.
Worship Service
The Gathering in Sandestin worship service is held at 10 a.m. Sundays in the Terrace Room in Bayside Conference Center, near the Broken Egg Café near Links Golf Course.

Upper Room Morning Worship
Gather in the “upper room” upstairs at Marlin Grill in The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at 9 a.m. each Sunday for an interdenominational morning service of teaching, praise and worship. Dress casual. Call 351-1990.
