Black Friday, Santa and a Tree Lighting
PANAMA CITY BEACH - Bright and early on Nov. 27, Pier Park will open at 5 a.m. for Black Friday, the official start of the holiday shopping season. Early shoppers will enjoy exclusive discounts available for one day only.
At 10 a.m., kids both naughty and nice are invited to Breakfast with Santa to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies in the green grass area in front of the carousel. Afterwards, Jolly Old St. Nick will make his home-away-from-home at the Santa House on the boardwalk, where he'll be posing for photos and listening to wishes until Christmas Eve.
After a fun day of shopping, the community is welcome to family fun at the Mayor's Second Annual Tree Lighting.
The mayor of Panama City Beach will light the 20-foot Christmas tree located in Town Center at 6 p.m., with holiday carolers serenading the crowd with songs of the season.
