First female to be named commander in special ceremony

Public Affairs Office, 1st Speical Operations Wing, USAF

  HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. - Lt. Col. Jim Rodriguez will relinquish command of the 4th Special Operations Squadron to Lt. Col. Brenda Cartier in a ceremony at Hurlburt Field at 9 a.m. Feb. 20.

            Colonel Cartier is the first female to be named commander of an Air Force Special Operations Command flying squadron.
