Read Across America Day brings fun to Butler Elementary

Butler Elementary School

Students and staff at Van R. Butler Elementary School recently celebrated "Read Across America Day" by honoring the works of Dr. Seuss.
Volunteers, Jr. Beta Club members and staff read to classes, and hallways were adorned with student work depicting favorite characters and books of the much loved author.
The kindergarten hallway was also filled with the smell of "Green Eggs and Ham" throughout the week, and math activities were incorporated through graphing activities.
