Students place at regional science fair
The Regional Science Fair for Okaloosa and Walton counties was held on February 21, 2008 at the Emerald Coast Conference Center. Destin Middle School had several students who earned special awards and were place winners. Here are the results:
1st Place – Cody Haeusler – Engineering
Camille Haeusler – Biochemistry
Stephanie Hsiang – Medicine
2nd Place – Catherine England – Chemistry
Special Awards: Cody Haeusler – Playground Amateur Radio Club Technology Award, National Defense Industrial Association Award, National Society of Professional Engineers Outstanding Engineering Project, Herbert Hoover Young Engineer Award, Jacob/Teas Best Tehcnology Award
