Seagar's Prime Steaks and Seafood earns ‘Best of Award of Excellence'
Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood, Northwest Florida’s first AAA Four-Diamond restaurant, has earned Wine Spectator magazine’s “Best of Award of Excellence” for the seventh consecutive year. This recognition is granted to wine lists that generally offer at least 400 selections, with modest depth or superior breadth in at least one classic region.
Boasting a wine list of more than 600 labels, Seagar’s is one of 788 restaurants to earn the “Best of Award of Excellence” this year. The restaurant currently features 3,700 bottles of wine on site, with an estimated 5,000 bottles of wine being poured each year.
“We’re extremely proud of being recognized once again by such a prestigious group of wine lovers and epicureans as is Wine Spectator,” said Kevin Moran, Seagar’s general manager. “We pride ourselves in providing our guests with a unique and extensive hand-selected wine list that complements our exquisite cuisine and enhances the Seagar’s fine dining experience.”
The complete list of 2010 Award of Excellence winners will be featured in the Aug. 31 issue of Wine Spectator.
