FPRA

The Northwest Florida Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will host its monthly professional development luncheon, Photography: A Perspective of Advertising vs. Public Relations at 11:30 a.m. March 16 at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Silver Sands Factory Stores. The program costs $15/members and $20/non-members which includes lunch. Public relations practitioners and interested professionals are invited. Walton Republican Women

The Walton Republican Women Federated will meet at 11:30 a.m. March 17 at Carrabba's Italian Grill, 10562 U.S. 98 in Miramar Beach, inside Silver Sands Outlet Mall.  The speaker will be Mike Hill who is running for Florida State Senate, District 2.  Cost for lunch is $18/members and $20/guests. Northwest Florida League of Cities

All elected and appointed officials from each city, associate members and legislative members and staff in Northwest Florida are encouraged and welcome to attend the meeting of the Northwest Florida League of Cities at 5 p.m. March 18 inside Freeport City Hall. Meditation Society

The Emerald Coast Meditation Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 18 at Christ the King Episcopal Church parish hall, 480 N. Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. Two speakers will present yoga poses and exercises to open the heart. Anyone who would like basic instruction should come at 6:15 p.m.

 

South Walton Republican Club

Bill Linder, former Senatorial candidate and brother of U.S. Representative John Linder, R-GA, will be the guest speaker at the South Walton Republican Club at 7 p.m. March 24 at the Coastal Branch Library on Hwy 331 in Santa Rosa Beach.

 

Herman Lodge

Herman Lodge #108 Free and Accepted Masons will meet at 7 p.m. first and third Tuesdays of each month on Madison Street in Freeport. Call 835-2314.

 

Eastern Star

The Order of the Eastern Star #281 meets at 7:30 p.m. the first and third Fridays of each month at Herman Lodge on Madison Street in Freeport. Call 835-2314.

 

New SHRM Chapter

A new Society of Human Resource Management Chapter in Walton County will meet at 8 a.m. the first Thursday of the month at TJ’s Table in Freeport.
