Embroiderers’ Guild of America

The Sand Dunes Chapter of Embroiderers' Guild of America will meet from 9:30 a.m. to noon March 22 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 25 at the First United Methodist Church of Niceville. Visitors are welcome.

South Walton Republican Club

Bill Linder, former Senatorial candidate and brother of U.S. Representative John Linder, R-GA, will be the guest speaker at the South Walton Republican Club at 7 p.m. March 24 at the Coastal Branch Library on Hwy 331 in Santa Rosa Beach.

DeFuniak Springs Garden Club

The DeFuniak Springs Garden Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. April 7 at the First Methodist Church of DeFuniak Springs Fellowship Hall, 88 Circle Drive. Cindy McCombs will present a hands-on demonstration on the art of basket weaving. The public is invited and light refreshments will be served.

New SHRM Chapter

A new Society of Human Resource Management Chapter in Walton County will meet at 8 a.m. the first Thursday of the month at TJ’s Table in Freeport.
