The Rocky Bayou Christian softball team overcame an 8-0 deficit Tuesday against Laurel Hill by exploding for 20 runs combined in the second and third innings of a 24-10 victory.
The Knights (1-2, 1-2 District 1-A) followed a six-run second inning with 14 runs in the third. The Hoboes had scored three and five runs in the first and second innings, respectively.
Rachel Johnson went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Rocky Bayou while Rachel Mosley added two hits and an RBI.
Samantha Holcomb earned the win for the Knights.
Rocky Bayou plays host to East Hill on Thursday, while Laurel Hill plays at Central.
