Burglary suspect sought (COMPOSITE)

OKALOOSA ISLAND — Deputies are seeking help in identifying a man who broke into a hotel room Saturday on Okaloosa Island.

A woman was showering in her hotel room at 2 a.m. at the Sheraton Four Points when she heard the door opening, said an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s news release.

When she moved the shower curtain, she saw a man standing in her hotel room, the release said.

After a struggle with the man, the woman ran into the parking lot for help. When she and her friends returned to the hotel room, her purse was missing and the man was gone, the release said.

The man is described as a pale, white man in his mid 20s with reddish hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and a black hat, the release said.
