Baker's Griffith makes third-team All-State

Lauren Griffith, the centerpiece of the Baker softball team's three-year district reign, has been selected to the Miracle Sports 2009 Florida High School 2A All-State team.

Griffith was selected to the third team as a pitcher. Along with excelling in the circle for the Gators, Griffith was one of the team's top hitters.

Griffin, a junior, led Baker to its third straight District 1-2A title and a spot in the regional semifinals.
