John Edward VanDoren
Mr. John VanDoren, 87, of Freeport, Fla., passed away Aug. 30, 2010. He was born Nov. 24, 1922.
Mr. VanDoren was a World War II veteran serving his country in the Navy in the Philippines. He was a life member of the BPOE Elks, active in lodge #2747. He was also a member of the VFW.
Mr. VanDoren was preceded in death by his son, John E. VanDoren, II.
Mr. VanDoren is survived by his loving wife Jeanine, four daughters, 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 2 at Hatcher Cemetery with the Rev. John Underdahl officiating.
