Christian music weekend
Attendees of the REAL.FUN.MUSIC weekend will have an opportunity to hear Randy Carlson’s Intentional Living Message from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at City Pier.
Carlson is the president of Family Life Communications and also serves in multiple capacities as a counselor, psychologist and radio host. He has developed numerous Christian based programs and hosts the nationally syndicated call-in program, Intentional Living, which airs daily on more than 250 radio stations. He teaches that the only way to truly live a balanced, intentional life is to submit to Christ.
The contemporary Christian music event on the beach across from Pier Park at the City Pier features Chris Tomlin from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21 and Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 22. Bring your own chairs and blankets to the free event.
Bible study
Community Bible Study, Women's Day Class, will be held Tuesday mornings beginning Aug. 31 at Destin United Methodist Life Center, 200 Beach Drive.

Upper Room Morning Worship
Gather in the “upper room” upstairs at Marlin Grill in The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at 9 a.m. each Sunday for an interdenominational morning service of teaching, praise and worship. Dress casual. Call 351-1990.
