Wild Game Dinner
A Wild Game Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. March 13 at Point Washington United Methodist Church, 1290 N. County Highway 395 in Santa Rosa Beach. Guest speaker is Clay Shiver, former All American at FSU, NFL offensive lineman with Dallas, Denver and Carolina and founder of Palm Branch Advisors. The cost is $20. Church members who are hunters and fishermen will bring their game or catch with special recipes. Menu items include wild pig, venison, dove, shrimp, fish, gumbo, sweet potato, grits, wild rice, blacks beans, green beans, dinner rolls and more.
Third annual women’s retreat
The Third Annual Florida Panhandle All Denominational Gathering of Women Retreat will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 13 at East Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Keynote speakers are author and inspirational speaker Judy Reamer and singer, recording artist and local newscaster, Neysa Wilkins.

Music for Muscogee concert
David Seering will perform a concert, “Music for Muscogee,” to benefit the Muscogee Tribe of Bruce at 6 p.m. March 14 at Crosspoint Church, 1477 North County Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at the Chapel on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call 267-3146.

Family and Friends Day
The St Stephens Baptist Church of Freeport will have a Family and Friends Day service at 4 p.m. March 20. The theme is “My Friend Jesus Is The Head of My Family.” The Rev. Ernest Powell, pastor of the Sixth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church of Florala, Ala., will be the keynote speaker. Refreshments will be served. The public is invited. Call 835-3232.
