CHAN’S WINE OF THE WEEK: Chateau Lanbersac 2009

Published: Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 04:38 PM.

A Wine World favorite, Chateau Lanbersac is a right bank Bordeaux made from predominantly Merlot grapes with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. True to the fantastic 2009 vintage, the wine exhibits soft, rich fruit on the nose, a beautiful ruby color and an unctuous feel of ripe plums on the palate. This wine is perfect to drink now, to be enjoyed with such cheeses as Ossau Iraty or Manchego, duck or roasted quail. Received a 90 point rating by Wine Enthusiast. Price is $16.99 per bottle. For more information visit any Chan’s Wine World location in Destin and South Walton.
