Trustmark to close two Panhandle branches

Trustmark Bank announced it will close two branches at the end of the business day May 3.

The East Destin branch location at 238 Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach and the Lynn Haven branch at 1912 S. State 77 in Lynn Haven are both slated for closure. Patrons with safety deposit boxes at either of the two bank branches will need to retrieve their items by April 16.

Trustmark said it will waive the box rental fee for the same sized box (if available) for one year at any other Florida Trustmark location. Customers who have questions regarding the closures are asked to call 800-243-2524.

Trustmark, which merged with Panama City-based Bay Bank and Trust last year, has 17 locations in Bay, Walton and Okaloosa counties.
