AVID students at SWHS
Sherri Houp, (right) AVID coordinator at South Walton High School, joined students from Northwest Florida State College’s “Introduction to Diversity” class. Channing Hammond, Melody Mathews, and Jordan Patton created a bulletin board to announce the upcoming visit of four branches of the United States Armed Forces to SWHS. Also, these beginning teachers tutored AVID students in study skills, preparing for tests, organizing their notebooks, and taking notes.
