Dr. Wiebe teaches in Atlanta

Dr. Amber E. Wiebe DMD, a uniquely trained provider of cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics in Santa Rosa Beach, was an instructor Sept. 6-8 at the Facial Esthetics Course in Atlanta. This course consisted of her teaching Georgia dentists and doctors new and advanced techniques in Botox and Facial Fillers.

Hazardous materials collection day

The Walton Board of County Commissioners will sponsor a project to collect, recycle, treat and properly dispose of household hazardous wastes from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 27 at the Walton County Fairgrounds, Hwy. 83 North in DeFuniak Springs and the South Walton Mosquito Control Office, County Road 393 in Santa Rosa Beach.

Items include pesticides, used oil, stale gasoline, solvents, fertilizers, paint, paint thinner, paint stripper, batteries, antifreeze, pool chemicals, break fluid, insecticides and other materials.

Waste tire amnesty will also be held on the same date, during the same hours and locations. Walton County residents may bring up to 12 tires per residence. No gas cylinders or explosives.

Due to hazardous nature of certain components in home computers, we will be accepting old computer hardware including processors, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, etc.
