TDC to fill vacancies on committees
The Walton Tourist Development Council is accepting applications for citizens to serve on volunteer committees to assist the TDC with tourist development and creative initiatives.
The TDC is currently looking for one citizen/representative to serve on the Marketing and Media, and Events, Activities, Arts and Culture committees. Walton County TDC receives 2013 Readers’ Choice Award
Walton County Tourism Development Council has recently been recognized for its brand Visit South Walton promotion of the destination across the country by receiving two Gold Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Adrian Awards as well as a ConventionSouth Readers’ Choice Award.
“We are thrilled that our efforts to showcase South Walton as the premier beach destination are being acknowledged by such prestigious organizations,” said Jim Bagby, executive director of the Walton County TDC.
Synergy HomeCare receives ‘Best of Home Care Award

Stephanie Carter named 2014 Designer of the Year
Founder, owner and creative director at Southern Fashion House, Stephanie Carter was awarded Visit South Walton’s 2014 Designer of the Year award on Oct. 15 at the South Walton Tourism Development Council’s annual meeting.
“I am surrounded by such great talent,” said Carter. “This community is full of creative, innovative and extremely gifted artists of all mediums. I’m lucky to be a part of it.”
