Jehovah’s Witnesses assembly

Delegations of Jehovah’s Witnesses from a four-county area will attend a special assembly beginning at 9:40 a.m. April 5 and 6 at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City. The session will feature the theme “God’s Word Exerts Power.” The public is invited and all seats are free, with no collections taken. Call 217-3032 or 547-4497.

General Conference

The General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. April 5 and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. April 6. These events may be viewed at the local meeting houses and online at LDS.org or the BYU channels.  The public is invited to view all sessions.  Call 862-3263.

Beach Service

Worship at the beach with Hope Lutheran Church at 8 a.m. at Ed Walline Beach Access across from Gulf Place on Scenic Hwy. 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Bring a towel, chair, or stand on the boardwalk. The service will be held at the church’s U.S. 98 campus during inclement weather and if the temperature is below 50 degrees. Call 267-0322.
