Hope Lutheran Church, founded on March 14, 1998, has always been a tiny church with a big heart and vision. Through the years Hope has met throughout South Walton County from Seaside to St. Rita's Catholic Church Parish House, a fire station on Hwy 393, Grayton Beach, Gulf Place on Hwy 30A, and many points in-between.

Hope purchased its first home at 3834 U.S. 98 West in Santa Rosa Beach in 2012 and is now open and ready for ministry. Hope has been truly blessed with its wonderful new home.

“We are in a special moment that was only realized by stepping out in faith,” said Pastor Jason Scheler. “I pray it leads to many others. Thank you God for your grace that you have poured out on Hope. We are grateful to be your servants and ask for your Spirit to continue to work among us so that the people of our community will come to Jesus.”

Hope offers a Sunday 8 a.m. Beach Service at Ed Walline Park, 4447 W. County Road 30A, at the corner of Hwy. 393 and CR30A, and a 10 a.m. service in its new home.  Everyone is welcome.
