New Bible study focuses on parenting

Published: Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 14:09 PM.

Christ the King Episcopal Church's weekly Mom's Bible Study will start back at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 10 in the church’s library. Childcare is free. RSVP to ctkmoms@gmail.com or on FB at https://www.facebook.com/events/585097598236314/.

This session we are going to mix it up and we are going to together read a parent book entitled "Love and Logic: Early Childhood Edition." Between sessions we will read a chapter (or two) a week and then in the weekly meetings, discuss how to implement with our own children within the context of raising loving, wonderful, vibrant, creative (non-whinny) children. We'll also integrate bible principles/versus that go along with the material. Regardless of if you can come to the study, this book is really amazing and so helpful for parents with children of all ages.

You can purchase a copy at http://www.amazon.com/Love-Logic-Magic-Early-Childhood/dp/1930429002. A few extra copies will be sold for $20 each on the 10th. Please let me know if you hope to attend so we can put one aside for you.

This is a no-pressure, casual Bible study for moms. If you can come once, twice, all the time — great. If you can only make one session, totally fine. Friends are welcome and you do not have to be a member of Christ the King or any church to attend this group.
