Friends give a 'lift' to park rangers
The Friends of Grayton Beach and Deer Lake State Parks presented the park rangers with a 9,000-pound capacity hydraulic automotive lift to be used to expand the parks in-house maintenance program. The lift is yet another contribution in an ongoing program of gifts to the park from the Friends of Grayton Beach and Deer Lake State Parks organization. “This donation has literally provided an economic ‘lift’, ” said Park Manager Matthew Allen. “By maintaining the parks vehicles and equipment onsite we can realize substantial savings. These savings can then be used for other park needs.”
