Miramar Beach resident graduates from the University of Dayton
McKay Rehwinkel of Miramar Beach graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Health Sciences degree in Dietetics.
A commencement ceremony was held May 4 at the University of Dayton. More than 1,400 undergraduates received degrees.
The University of Dayton, founded in 1850 by the Society of Mary (the Marianists), is a top-tier, national, Catholic, research institution. Local students among Troy University spring semester graduates
Troy University honored more than 700 graduates May 9 during spring commencement inside Trojan Arena on the Troy Campus.
Local students who received degrees were Heather Bailey of Santa Rosa Beach; Matthew Bowling of DeFuniak Springs; Megan Brunson of Santa Rosa Beach; and Michael Craig of Santa Rosa Beach.
Troy University is a public institution serving a broad range of students on four campuses in Alabama, online and around the world, providing a wide variety of academic programs from the associate to the doctoral level.
