Rhonda Skipper, Walton County Tax Collector, and staff honored James Hallford as Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter. Hallford joined the Tax Collector’s Office in June after being employed by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for 26 years.

Hallford serves as the Driver License Administrator in the Tax Collector’s Office. He provides training to staff on driver license and identity card transactions as well as serves as the point of knowledge for any unusual or difficult situations involving the issuance of a driver license or identity card.

“James has been a very welcome addition to our staff,” Skipper said. “We’re thankful to have his knowledge and expertise on our team. James has certainly been integral to the success our office has experienced in taking on driver license services.”

Nominations for the honor of Employee of the Quarter are made by all employees based on an employee’s overall performance, demonstration of the organization’s commitment to service, and efforts to exemplify the core values during each quarter.
