New acquisitions at the DeFuniak Library

Published: Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:56 AM.

The DeFuniak Springs Friends of the Library are pleased to announce that several new books have been added to the shelves at the DeFuniak Springs Library. The Friends exist to provide services and materials for our library which may not be accommodated in the library’s budget.

Presently the Friends of the Library commit $6,000 annually to library needs. These funds are raised through periodic book sales as well as the generosity of donors. The Friends work closely with the library staff in the selection of needed materials. Consequently the books added to the library are those selections for which the library has special need.

New titles include:

Brotherhood of Fear by Paul Grossman

Death of a Policeman by M C Beaton

Flora & Ulysses by Kate DiCamilio

Handbook for Dragon Slayers by Merrie Haskell

Knock Knock by Daniel Beaty

Locomotives by Brian Floca

Mister Orange by Truns Matti

PS Be Eleven by Rita Williams-Garcia

Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein

Ruth & Billy Graham by Hanspeter Nuesch

Year of the Demon by Steve Bein

Parrots over Puerto Rico by Susan Roth and Cindy Trumbore

The Watermelon Seed by Greg Pizzoli

The Puente Mambo King by Monica Brown

All of these titles are at the DeFuniak Library. The library is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
